Doch nun löst der amtierende Politiker die Kaderschmiede auf, wo sich vor allem Kinder aus gut situierten Haushalten eingefunden haben. Für die „Financial Times“ muten solche Verbindungen fast inzestuös an. Auch die „Gelbwesten“-Bewegung hat die Schule wegen der erfolgreichen Elitenbildung irritiert. Man blieb unter sich, aber nicht allein in jener Zuchtanstalt namens ENA, die es jetzt nur noch als Legende gibt. |

The former presidents Valery Giscard d‘Estaing, Jacques Chirac, François Hollande and of course Emmanuel Macron belong to this guild. But now the incumbent politician is dissolving the cadre forge, where mainly children from well-off households have gathered. For the "Financial Times" such connections seem almost incestuous. The “yellow vests” movement also irritated the school of the successful elite. One keeps to oneself, but not by oneself in that breeding establishment called ENA, which now only exists as a legend. |
